Canada is one of the most industrialised countries in the world and the Canadians enjoy a very high standard of living. Located on the North coast of the Ontario Lake, Toronto is one of the biggest and most emblematic cities of the country.
The programme takes place in the “Technology Triangle” in Ontario South-East, approximately one hour from Toronto and very close to the American frontier and the world famous Niagara Falls.

The Classes
The course is made up of fifteen classes a week over a four day period, as the fifth day is dedicated to a full day excursion. The highly qualified and experienced teachers use interesting and dynamic teaching materials. The classes focus primarily on aspects of communication in order to help students improve their fluency - there are no beginner levels.

Accommodation
The ethnic diversity of the Canadian population is one of the determining factors of its culture - although everybody considers themselves Canadian. The diversity created by its habitants coming from such different backgrounds creates a rich social network and helps to promote a healthy attitude towards different ways of living.
The chosen families reflect this cultural diversity; however it is a requirement of the school that English is the first spoken language of the host family. The student is expected to spend as much time as possible with his host family so that he gets the chance to practice his English and learn more about the culture.

Activities
Sporting activities are arranged three afternoons per week, amongst them several sports such as baseball, football and swimming or other thematic activities. Cultural visits are also organised as well as video sessions etc.

The programme includes one full day excursion per week and two further half day excursions during the stay. In the full day excursion, students will get the chance to visit places such as:

  • The Niagara Falls
  • Wonderland Theme park
