These courses offer children the chance to spend the summer holiday abroad, improving and practising their English and having fun. They will experience a different culture and make new friends with children of their age from all over the world.
As the students share the course with other children of the same language level, but of different nationalities, they have to practice their English intensively. As well as the lively and fun English programme, the summer centres provide a great variety of sports, activities and excursions to keep the children busy and happy.
Accommodation is with families or in student residence. Families are carefully chosen by the school to provide a warm and friendly environment in which the children will feel very at home. Sometimes more than one student will stay with the same family and, in this case, they will speak a different native language, so that English is spoken at all times. All groups are accompanied on their trip abroad by a selected adult monitor. The monitor is of same nationality as the children and is responsible for their pastoral care twenty four hours a day.
