With about 2,000 inhabitants, Cahersiveen is the ideal destination for a course and that young people have the chance to mingle with the locals and enjoy a safe and relaxed environment.
Our school is a family that is in a small and dynamic coastal town of County Kerry, Ireland Southwest region. The school has a very good infrastructure and excellent sports facilities from which enjoy stunning views over the sea.
With 20 lessons a week, students will take an intensive but enjoyable and holistic course. Music, drama, dancing, poetry and games are often incorporated into lessons and there is a maximum of twelve students in each class. Our teachers are experienced and qualified – they enjoy creating a happy and dynamic learning environment for each student.
Activities and excursions
The school organises a complete program of extra-curricular activities every afternoon and two evenings per week. In the afternoon, the students can participate in numerous activities being offered, among them, sports, excursions and visits to places of cultural interest in the city. In the evening, the extra-curricular activities continue: sessions of Irish folk music, Irish dance lessons, talks, songs, contests, theatre, etc. At the weekend, the students spend a relaxing day with their host family and Irish friends, and the next day they visit a place of historical interest, which allows them to enjoy the beauty of the Irish landscape
Sports such as:
Tennis, soccer, basketball, squash, volleyball, badminton, swimming, athletics, ping pong, rugby, etc.
The accommodation is with native families who have been previously carefully selected and with whom for many years the school has maintained a good contact, and who have a lot of experience as host families. In that way, the students have the opportunity to experience how the families live.
The price includes
Monitor passenger during the journey and in charge of youth at all times.
Twenty lessons a week, with a duration of sixty minutes each and taught by highly qualified and experienced teachers.
Full board accommodation in carefully selected Irish families.
All weekends, trips a day on the outskirts of County Kerry.
