To work as an Au-Pair you need to like children
and families and be mature and flexible. The age of an Au-Pair is
normally between 18 and 27, but in some cases we can except people
who are older than 27.
You are expected to work around twenty five hours each week. This
work involves looking after any children which the family have and
baby sitting two or three evenings weekly. You could also be expected
to clean, wash, iron and prepare meals. Your exact work conditions
will depend on which family you are placed with. |
|
The great advantage of working as an Au-Pair is
that you will have the opportunity to practice your English with
native speakers and to experience another culture. We strongly recommend
that you take the opportunity to study English part-time while you
are working and we can arrange that you can study in a Eurobridge
school. This also gives you the opportunity to make new friends
which is an important part of the success of your stay.
We also offer Demi Au-Pair programmes in which you can study
at one of the best language schools in England and pay for your
accommodation by working part-time as an Au-Pair. |
